This series was created during the COVID-19 Lockdown in April 2020.

At a time when emotions were running high, the world struggled with isolation, feeling trapped and fearful for what the future would hold.

I spent many hours looking out the window, trying to see off into the horizon as if the answers to our collective uncertainty were just out of reach.

This series aims to capture some of that longing, that uncertainty, and the rare moments of unexpected beauty that arose in our “new normal”

These portraits were created safely during level 4 lockdown in New Zealand with the help of video calling.
